Alexis Butler

Former full-time teacher, now a full-time stay-at-home mom to dragons, unicorns, and very real kids. After nearly a decade teaching science (middle and high school—survived, barely), she now spends her days wrangling a toddler and chauffeuring 9-year-old twins to soccer and everything else in between. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Tuskegee University (TU—You Know!) and an M.Ed. from George Washington University. In her “downtime” (rare), she enjoys nature walks, reading, trying new hobbies with her husband, and DIY projects—because if she can learn it, she’s going to try it.
